At long last, I have finally updated "Second Chapter," my sequel to "A Writer of Fictions."
It's been ages since I last updated, and I want to offer heartfelt thanks to readers for their extraordinary patience and loyalty! And since it's been so long, I'd like to suggest going back and rereading Chapter Six, since it's essential to remember what was happening and the time frame of the action just prior to this new chapter. We pick things up in medias res, as it were, in Chapter Seven.

| HP Fic Archive OWL (On-Line Wizarding Library) to be Permanently Shut Down |

The OWL fanfiction archive is going to be permanently shut-down at the end of April, if not sooner. The mods suggest that everyone collect what they wish from the site (stories, reviews, etc.) before that date.
The Announcement:
Global: Tauri.org is closing on 4-30-2012
As of 4-30-2012, tauri.org will be closing - for several reasons, not the least of which is hardware. The machine has been running 24x7 since the site first went live, and has clearly been showing its age. It will continue to be checked and rebooted daily until the end of the month. At that time, it will be powered off. Any information needed from the site (stories, reviews, etc.) must be collected before that time.

EDIT 4-10-2012: Server stability continues to drop; it was rebooted 3 times today already. If it continues at this rate, it may not last until the end of the month.

Here's the latest in the nastiness:
I PMed the plagiarist and she replied. I'll let our exchange speak for itself:
"You really had a nerve, plagiarizing my story, "A Writer of Fictions"! Just who the hell do you think you are, stealing somebody else's hard work? You just don't take what belongs to somebody else and claim it as yours! It's ethically really a dirty, disgusting thing to do, and it's also illegal. Did you really think you could get away with this?"
You are a thief and a fraud, and everybody in the fandom knows it!"
Her reply:
"I took it down not because of YOU but because it sort of sucked too much to be used anyway.
Also, stop tooting your own horn. You have 14 people who know of it. You dont even know my real username. I will continue to write my stories, and I'll continue to get reviews (even from your own reviewers) and you'll never even know :)
Your stories suck. Especially this one. Just an FYI.
And just letting you and all your followers know, it isn't ILLEGAL to copy a piece of fanfic. The moment you pull out a the bill for it, then you can go around saying that."
I guess I'm not surprised that she is as vindictive as she is. I even hesitated before messaging her, wondering if I would set her off so that she would do it again. Seems to me she's threatening to do just that, under a different user name. I love the line "I'll continue to get reviews (even from your own reviewers) and you'll never even know. :)" Omg, the unmitigated gall of this person!
So my stories suck, huh? They're "crap ass" stories, so she told bambu345. Needless to say, such comments beg the question of why she stole AWOF in the first place. I do worry that she will do it again, though, to another fic of mine and under another user name-- for sheer spite, if for no other reason. I have reported this nasty, arrogant little piece of shit for abuse at FF.net, and I can only hope they will take the appropriate action and ban her forever. But the bitch is sneaky. I would ask everybody to keep their eyes peeled over there just in case she decides to repeat the offense against me or anybody else.

As some of you might already know, yesterday a writer (I use that word advisedly)began posting my story, A Writer of Fictions, on ff.net, claiming it as her own. She quite literally stole it, word for word, right down to the title. Her name: pen_in_the_wind.
It's been an upsetting day, but ultimately, a very gratifying one, because so many people in the fandom have rallied to help me out, reporting the plagiarism, blasting the thief with PMs, sending scathing reviews. I can't express how much everyone's support has meant to me. Thankfully, the story has now been taken down, but I think it was dealt with so quickly because of the outpouring of support for me and the outrage against the thief who stole my work.
I just want to say a huge THANK YOU to all who spoke up for me! <3

my old comp crashed and i lost all my bookmarks. =( i looking for 2 different fics.
1) hermione has been out of the country for a while and is no longer in harry/ron/ginny's good graces. she is actually sorta friends with pansy because something happened while in australia i think. draco tries to find out why she and ron/harry are no longer friends and ends up falling in love with her.
2) if i remember correctly, hermoine owned a school that wasn't doing very well and draco asked her to marry as a business proposition. he was trying to keep custody of his son. pansy was the kid's mom but she was a nasty piece of work. at some point pansy won custody and the twins were helping the kid pull pranks on pansy.

Alright, so I was just thinking about a Dramione fic I read awhile ago and I can't seem to find it again. I don't remember if I read it on LJ or ff.net.
I remember that Hermione was working for the order and Draco was a death eater and they were meeting up in some room to exchange information. Or rather, Hermione would inject Draco with morphine (he's dependent on it or something) and he would give her information in return for the drug. I think around the end of the fic you find out that Draco has been stealing information from her mind etc...

Dormiensa alerted me to a Dramione graphic that reminded her of my story, and when I took one look at it, I could see why!
